This itinerary, quite long, but only on flat roads, will take us to Bologna, so that we will visit the town and it’s beautiful historic centre where we can ride through many downtown streets to admire Bologna beautiful monuments, a particularly nice sight is Torre degli Asinelli.
Once we leave the Center of town, we will then climb up to the famous sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca, a very famous and characteristics site, that stands above the Emilian City: the final steep climb to reach San Luca, hosts every October il Giro dell’Emilia, a race that is one of the last ones of the professional racing season.
